What's in a name?

I was given the honor of choosing our baby girl's name. 

I chose her name after listening to the audio book version of The Golden Compass. Lyra is the main female character who is strong and independent child who faces adversity and adventures head on with curiosity and strength. 

Tony and I agreed upon a family name for her middle name. We chose Virginia. Virginia Kenney is Tony's lovely sweet grandmother.

The bonus is that Lyra Virginia initials is LV; sin city. The city in which Tony and I met! She is our little Las Vegas baby!
