The Redwoods

Taking a family pictures is hopeless with the four of us!

The road to Gold Bluffs campground

Along 101 Highway we found ELK
The Elk were NOT in the Prairie Creek viewing area, but they were on the side of 101 highway.

Thanksgiving Dinner at Moonstone Grill in Trinidad, California
The kids and my mother enjoyed a Thanksgiving turkey meal while Tony, my father enjoy steak and seafood dishes. The molten chocolate cake was to die for good.  Finally a good picture of the four of us; taken in the lobby of the Eureka, CA Holiday Inn.

Oregon coast-headed south to Coos Bay, Oregon

Ona Beach
Oregon's coast is truly breath taking with great campsites, parks, and clean bathrooms (a nice treat for a traveling pregnant lady).

Grace "has there ever been a salami here?" (Correct word, tsunami)

Grace wanted a picture of this sea creature.

Best kid pictures:

Devils churn

Gracie called this a pregnant tree and thought I should pose next to it.

Chasm Bridge

Heceta Lighthouse Beach

Grace "I am so glad I saw the starfish" outside.

Here is an example of a typical conversation with Gracie-
Setting- Lighthouse Beach
Grace: "This the second coolest place"
Parent: "What's the first!"
Grace: "Ohio"

The dunes recreation campground
"I was tortured to go up the sand dunes" -Gracie
