Lyra Discovery Isle

Lyra transferred to a new school in Jun 2017. We are fairly happy with the change. She is in a visiting sports program and is learning big vocabulary words and complex subjects each day.

Sledding in Big Bear

We travelled to Big Bear a day after a fresh snow. Perfect timing. Found a local park, Aspen Glen Picnic Area; near Pineknot Trailhead. The park offered us as well as other families lots of different size hills to test out our own sledding gear. Snow was very powdery so it was easy not to get "wet". Kids had a blast, and so did mom. Not sure about Tony.
