Kids expo at Del Mar

On Living Social I found a family deal for the Kids Expo in Del Mar. It was a morning of pure kid fun and a good price. All kids had fun. I think next year Griffin will be too old. The kids built a bird feeder and tool box from Home Depot, Bounced, rolled inflatable balls in and out of water, road a train, took a ziplined down, and listened to kids rock out. Grace got a free vocal lesson at Rock and Roll In Carlsbad. Hope it works out and we can get her singing "our" music :)

LA Brea Tar Pits

Griffin, Lyra, Tony, and I went off to LA to the Tar Pits while Gracie camp out with the Girls Scouts. It was a nice day to enjoy the tar ooze leaking through tree limbs and crack at the La Brea Tar Pits. We enjoyed a nice dinner with Grammie Jacque and my parents in Burbank.

Lyra was not a fan of the animated woolly mammoth.

Escondido Childrens Museum

Lyra and Mommy visited with our friends at the Escondido Children's Museum during spring break. Katrina, Audrey, Axel,  Sammy, Alanna, and Shari were all there. Lyra tried to climb in the lego fountain many times. She visited the Museum in May with daddy and actually was building a bridge and learned that she was scared of other mom's who yelled and smacked their kids for misbehaving. The video of Axel helping Lyra into the little house is so cute!
