With our Christmas gift from my parents we purchased a rug and put up a baby gate locking out the dog and keeping the baby somewhat contained. It has been one of the best decisions so far. The Lyra monster is loose.

Christmas Morning 2014
Christmas was filled with lots of love this year with a visit from Deb and Jake to be with us for Lyra's first Christmas. Everyone was more than spoiled this year with gifts galore. Lyra impressed us with learning how to hug and hold her own bottle. She hesitates to walk on her feet as she stands on her tippy toes. However, she will get around well walking on her knees.

Marsha and Joe hosted a lovely Christmas dinner were Lyra no longer the "baby" had to share the spotlight with her 4 month old cousin, Rivers (Brett and Nan's little joy).
